Vietnam’s pharmaceutical and healthcare industries have only imported 3.5 tonnes of salbutamol since the beginning of this year and only used it in medical treatments to relieve asthma, bronchitis, and similar breathing problems. The director also said that further investigations were needed to find out if the chemical was being used illegally in animal feed production.
