The six services provided from Wednesday are notarizing e-copies, granting and renewing driving licenses at Level 4 - the highest level of online public service provision, paying fines for administrative violations in road traffic imposed by traffic inspectors, paying fines for administrative violations in road traffic imposed by traffic police, paying premiums of voluntary social insurance, and extending household-based health insurance.
Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung told a press conference introducing the services that the National Public Service Portal has connected 18 ministries, 63 provinces, 12 groups and corporations, and banks. Businesses can register administrative procedures with all ministries and perform online transactions for all financial duties. The portal is a channel to ensure transparency of administrative services, he said
