It is one of humanity's greatest achievements. Many activities have been organized in the US and in many other countries to commemorate the event. The Washington Monument was turned into the Saturn V rocket and Neil Armstrong's spacesuit is now on display at the US National Air and Space Museum. In addition, Australia's Foxtel Channel launched the film Moon Landing: The Lost Tapes to show people unpublished images surrounding the landing. On July 19th, Google Doodle honored the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing by changing its homepage's icon into a video about the event.
