In Asia, only Vietnam and Indonesia have been recognized by the International Cocoa Organination (ICCO) as having fine flavor cocoa origins.
Indonesia is the third largest cocoa exporter in the world, however only 1% of their cocoa qualifies as fine flavor. The ICCO awarded Vietnam fine flavor status for 40% of total exports.
