33% of Vietnamese buy from foreign e-commerce sites

Vietnam is considered one of the fastest growing markets for e-commerce, with growth of 35 percent per year. Meanwhile, 33% of Vietnamese consumers have purchased products from foreign retail websites. Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises have found these distribution platforms suitable due to lower costs. The most popular sites for Vietnamese consumers and businesses are Amazon and Alibaba.
