In recent years, Viet Nam and Singapore have actively cooperated in fields starting with a bilateral Strategic Partnership that has been fruitful and effective.
Singapore is Vietnam's ninth biggest trading partner and third biggest investor. One of the highlights in their bilateral relationship is education. Singapore is one of the countries that have the highest number of Vietnamese students in the world, with about 9,000 students. The ongoing Singapore visit by the National Assembly Chairwoman is important in deepening the bilateral Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
