The two sides agreed to work for the early signing of a protocol on borderlines and border markers as well as a treaty on the regulations for borders and border gate management before the end of 2015.
Deputy Prime Minister proposed Lao’s government to create more favorable conditions for Vietnamese overseas in Laos in citizenship granting procedures. The two countries’ Ministries of Foreign Affairs also agreed to increase exchanges of information and experience, and to closely cooperate in regional and international forums in the new context.
