The documentary by VTV - "Bẫy" (The Trap) - won the only A prize in the Documentary category at the 2022 National Press Awards.

This momentous event coincides with the enthusiastic efforts of journalists nationwide to commemorate the 99th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024), and looks forward to the 100th anniversary of this important day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
The National Press Awards cover a wide range of fields, reflecting the diverse and comprehensive nature of journalism. The professionalism and dedication of journalists have been crucial to the success of the awards each year.
The 18th National Press Awards - 2023 has just completed the final round judging with an increase in the number of participating press associations, entries, and the quality of submissions in both the preliminary and final rounds. The Pre-judging Council noted that in its 18th year and the 99th year of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press, the prestige of the National Press Awards continues to be solidified. The value and reputation of the awards have been widely spread among various press associations and members.
Out of 165 entries in the final round, the council has selected 10 A prizes, 26 B prizes, 45 C prizes, and 41 consolation prizes for the 18th National Press Awards 2023.
The award ceremony will be held on the evening of Friday, June 21, 2024, at the ICE International Exhibition Center - Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (91 Hoan Kiem, Tran Hung Dao Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi). It is expected to be broadcast live on VTV1 and VOV.
