During the morning session, President Truong Tan Sang delivered a speech on the tasks of the 2011-2016 term, emphasising the achievements in foreign relations and international integration.
Right after President Truong Tan Sang’s speech, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung reviewed socio-economic developments during the 2011-2016 period. The PM pointed out good achievements in terms of curbing inflation, stabilising the macro-economy, improving the business climate, along with other social and economic achievements.
During the scheduled 19 days of work, the 13th National Assembly will review the performance of state officials, the National Assembly and government agencies over the past five years, along with other legislative issues.
