For this reason, Hanoi authorities have opened up 118 new car parks and 9 new parking streets that are accessible through a mobile app.
Drivers can now use the iParking app to find spaces in 4 major districts of Hanoi including Hoan Kiêm, Ba Định, Dong Da and Hải Ba Trung. This new service follows the success of the pilot project for parking on Tran Hung Dao and Ly Thương Kiet. This new approach to metropolitan parking is considered more effective than traditional parking methods and beneficial to the budget revenue.
