Thai-based hospitality group makes first foray into Vietnam

VTV.vn - The Thailand based Onyx Hospitality Group has signed an agreement with HB Group to manage Ozo Hoi An, marking the group’s first foray into Vietnam.

The hotel, which is scheduled to open in late 2016, is part of a master development consisting of a retail complex, dining and entertainment village, residential apartments, villas and recreational facilities.

The project is reported to be worth 1.5 billion USD and will cover a 400 hectare site. This is an important step for Hoi An’s tourism sector which has demonstrated a long-term ability to attract another major foreign investors.
