Latin American film week begins in Hanoi

VTV.vn - The third Latin American Film Week kicked off last night in Hanoi. Screening nine films from nine Latin American countries, the event will last until November 14.

The festival aims to introduce the cultures of these countries to Vietnamese audiences, helping them understand more about Latin America.

The festival will premiered with the well-known Peruvian film, Sigo Siendo. The documentary depicts the Latin American country of Peru, its diverse culture and history. The images of Peruvian people and traditions are featured with indigenous music and languages.

The nine films featured in the festival convey to Vietnamese people the Latin American message of unity, and the possibility for cultural exchange. It also reflects the diverse culture and traditions of the 9 Latin American countries. These films were screened and well-received at various international film festivals.

The films will introduce the unique aspects and rich culture of Latin America, helping Vietnamese audiences learn more about this part of the world. Daily screenings will be held at 6-and-8 p.m. at Cinematheque, Ha Noi. Entrance is free, but on a first-come, first-served basis.
