Many members of the film crew, from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts to actors including Jason Mitchell and Thomas Mann are frequently uploading pictures of Vietnam onto the internet while filming in the country.
Their pictures of Quang Binh province’s Phong Nha cave and Ninh Binh province’s scenery, as well as local people’s daily lives, have drawn the attention of a large number of viewers on Facebook and Instagram.
