The PM said Vietnam was determined to carry out reforms to stabilise the macro-economy, control inflation and accelerate economic growth. The PM made it clear that the government supported the ADB’s comprehensive strategy to 2030 which helps member states deal with poverty, narrowing the development gap and mitigating the effects of climate change, as well as promoting the role of the private sectors.
The ADB Country Director said Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements were recognised internationally. The ADB is engaged in support projects in developing infrastructure, tackling climate change and promoting equality in Vietnam.
