According to statistics, the decree has made 179 million USD of funding available to fishermen to upgrade 385 ships and build 84 modern vessels. The conference also discussed ways to effectively expand aquaculture projects and distribute capital. Participants advocated stronger co-operation among local authorities and government agencies to increase the effectiveness of Decree 67.
Banks also signed 14 credit contracts with fishermen for the construction of 14 new ships at the event.
