On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification Day, many delegations from domestic and international friendship organizations have visited Ho Chi Minh City and participated in many cultural exchanges. After 40 years, they can see many positive changes and discover with their own eyes the development of the city and country.
Returning to the city, where they had lived and worked in the past, these international friends can see the new look and smell of every corner of the Southern hub. After 40 years, Ho Chi Minh cityis a city transformed. The Nhieu Loc canal, once one of the dirtiest canals in the city, is one example of the change.
To enhance the mutual understanding with international universities, Vietnam organised a conference entitled "Vietnam-40 years of integration and development" in the Southern province of Binh Duong. The program drew the participation of many scholars, whose research hails Vietnam's post war achievements.
Currently, Vietnam studies have been introduced to 30 countries worldwide. Every year, more than 10,000 international students arrive in the country for study and cultural exchanges. These activities have helped the world understand more about a present-day Vietnam.
Vietnam has made a breakthrough in enhancing its relationship with many countries in the world. With its ongoing international trade negotiations, Vietnam expects to receive more chances to renovate, integrate and develop in the future.
