Asian-African Conference 2015 commences in Jakarta

AAC 2015 opened in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 22 to promote “the spirit of Bandung” and boost economic development on both continents through strengthened South-South cooperation. Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang delivered a keynote speech at the event.

This year’s AAC is focusing its discussions on a number of key issues, ranging from support for an independent Palestine to the creation of new economic cooperation models towards sustainable development in the two continents.
