With 2,200 articles in internationally acclaimed science and technology magazines in 2014, Vietnam is ranked only after Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. In 2014, primary research results shown in international publication increased by 21% compared to 2013. Many high-value projects include the production of Rotavin-M1 vaccine in Vietnam and application of laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of some thyroid diseases.
