A delegation of leaders from the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) on April 29 paid a floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and offered incense at the fallen soldiers Memorial on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day.
The high-ranking delegation included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former State President Tran Duc Luong, National Assembly Chairman (NA) Nguyen Sinh Hung, former Party and State leaders, politburo members, secretaries of the Party Central Committee and senior war veterans.
The leaders expressed their deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh in remembrance of his great contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
The same day, delegations from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence, the Central Public Security Commission and the Ministry of Public Security, and People’s Committee of Hanoi also paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and laid a wreath at the fallen soldiers Memorial.
