Attending the event, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai recognised it as an important contribution, not only to the Nghi Son Economic Zone, but also to the socio-economic development of Vietnam’s North Central Region.
The 71-hectre complex includes 9 ports with a total reception capacity of 30 million tons of shipments per year. The port can receive ships of up to 50,000 tons. The project cost nearly 267 million USD, constructed under the Nghi Son Steel joint development project.
