Yesterday morning, more than 6,000 people including the military, police, students and other organisations in Ho Chi Minh City participated in a parade drill to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification. The rehearsal parade involved more than 2,000 local people, 3,800 people from the navy, air force, marine police, the military information branch, traffic police, and mobile police force. The anniversary parade will begin from Le Duan Road, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on April 30th and is expected to involve around 6,000 personnel from the Vietnamese People’s Army, Public Security, as well as students and members of the public.
