The event drew the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai. The forum was held to promote and strengthen the partnership between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses now that TPP negotiations have come to a close. According to Japanese representatives, the TPP will take greater advantage of trade potential between the 2 countries. Vietnam is also required to speed up technological advances and modernize management. Experts believe that the Vietnam-Japan Partnership will help improve Vietnam’s competitiveness.
