Transport Minister Dinh La Thang stressed the target at a conference that reviews the sector's implementation in the first half of 2015 held in Hanoi on July 6th. Reports at the conference showed that the majority of on-going projects have initially met their set schedules and quality requirements.
However, some vital projects, such as Hanoi’s urban railway connecting Cat Linh to Ha Dong, the Hanoi-Haiphong highway or the upgrade of national highway through Binh Dinh province continue to lag behind schedule. Minister Thang has asked authorities to push forward with the construction of these projects.
