Host Binh Duong sends four teams to the competition. Teams from Malaysia, Thailand and Laos also enter.
From now to November 7, the teams will show off their skills in six events on artificial terrain and 10 on natural terrain.
The 15 vehicles that win the first round on artificial terrain on November 1-2 will advance to the second round, slated for November 3-7, where they will have to traverse 70km of forest in Dau Tieng district of Binh Duong and Bu Dang district of Binh Phuoc province within 36 hours.
RFC Vietnam is the only professional motorsport tournament in the country, held under the world’s most demanding 4x4 extreme off-road events in Malaysia.
It was organised for the first time in the northern province of Quang Ninh in 2013.
