The 40-seat train stopped at each station while tourists went sightseeing. According to the Ho Chi Minh Tourism Association, travelling on railway is safer and takes less time than by road. However, tour prices will be higher, due to costs for train staff and guides. After the pilot, the tourism associations of Phú Yên, Bình Định, Khánh Hòa, Bình Thuận and Ho Chi Minh City will sign a co-operation agreement with railway companies at the beginning of November.
