These projects, funded by the Australian government, were implemented by seven international non-governmental organisations during the 2012-2015 period. The program, with a total value of AU$15 million, had a direct impact on over 200,000 people in 13 provinces across Vietnam.
Under the program, several smart livelihood models were developed and tested, and thousands of households and (government) authorities were trained in disaster preparedness. This is the biggest Australian-funded program to cope with climate change in Vietnam to date.
