In attendance were those operating in the fields of construction, oil and gas, chemicals, communication, transportation, and tourism.
At the meeting, enterprises from both countries introduced their businesses and discussed cooperation prospects in the context of the Vietnam - Eurasian Free Trade Agreement, which will take effect in early 2016.
Currently, Kazakhstan is eyeing Asian markets, including Vietnam. The Kazakh market is also attracting many Vietnamese enterprises, especially those in construction and light industries, among others.
