The event, organised by the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia Organisation and its members, is the leading conference on sustainable growth and coastal management around East Asia’s seas.
Speaking at a press conference in Hanoi on Wednesday, the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Chu Pham Ngoc Hien said a number of seminars, forums, exhibitions and field trips would take place during the event. As the host, Vietnam wants to demonstrate its efforts to see East Asian seas become an environment of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
