Vietnam attends 12th ASEM Foreign Ministers meeting

This year event focuses on climate change, natural calamity management and non-traditional security threats. As one of the 26 co-founders, Vietnam has actively participated in the ASEM with a number of initiatives and positive contributions.

Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son also delivered a speech on climate change at the meeting, following the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The meeting includes representatives from 51 ASEM members, India, Russia, China, Japan and New Zealand.
