Vietnam and Poland boast great potential for partnerships
VTV.vn - Earlier on June 9th, Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh met with Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo in Warsaw.

She thanked Poland for its preferential credit worth 250 million EUR for Vietnam, hoping that the two countries soon sign a framework agreement on financial cooperation in the credit, so specific projects can be implemented as soon as possible.

Prime Minister Beata Szydlo said that on the basis of the two countries’ fine traditional friendship and as an active member of the EU, Poland will continue supporting the strengthening of the Vietnam-EU comprehensive cooperation and partnership.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the growth of bilateral cooperation in numerous fields, with two-way trade reaching 760 million USD in 2015. The Polish leader emphasised the contributions of the Vietnamese community in Poland to the host country’s development.

She also shared the stance of settling East Sea disputes by peaceful means on the basis of international law, when being informed of recent developments in the waters by Thinh.
