Funded by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, the well-equipped school costs a total of 200,000 USD and features six classrooms, seating 30 pupils each. On the occasion, the Prime Minister also presented 50 sets of computers to the province.
The same day, the Prime Minister visited a memorial dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh in Sieng Vang village, where he lived and worked from 1929-1931.
He also met Vietnamese nationals in the village and urged them to contribute to local socio-economic development.
Prime Minister Dung is scheduled to meet Laos leaders this morning to discuss initiatives fostering the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
