The Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations on January 28 hosted a foreign press conference on the outcomes of the 12th National Party Congress. Head of the Commission, Hoang Binh Quan, said the 9-day event had been a success.
The delegates had open democratic discussions, approved important documents, and decided on 6 key tasks and directions for national development in the future.
Quan also thanked foreign parties and organisations for their messages of support, citing the 248 messages from foreign parties and organisations which offered profound encouragement for the congress, illustrating their close relations with the Communist Party of Vietnam.
