The majority of Central Committee’s members aged from 50 to 59 years old, according to the list announced on the afternoon of January 26. There are 19 members under the age of 45, accounting for 9.5% of membership.
The new Party Central Committee has 20 female members, accounting for 10% of the total membership and 17 members from ethnic groups, which comprise 8.5% of the total. The new Central Committee meets the age structure, younger and female targets proposed in the 11th National Party Congress.
