Defence minister pays official visit to Laos

The visit, made at the invitation of the Lao Minister of National Defence Senior Lieutenant General Chansamone Chanyalath, aims to consolidate the traditional relationship and special solidarity between the two countries’ peoples and armies.

Earlier, Minister of Defence General Ngo Xuan Lich held talks with Lao Minister of National Defence Chansamone Chanyalath. At the talks, the two sides agreed to continue to search for the remains of Vietnamese soldiers who died in Laos and the traditional education programme on relations between the two military forces.
