After talks, the presidents signed a joint statement on strengthening and comprehensively developing relations between the countries. They also witnessed the signing of a number of co-operative agreements in defence, economics, science, education, culture, tourism, vocational training, and between localities.
On the same day, the Belarusian president also met with Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung./.
