At the event, ministers of the 3 Indochinese countries reviewed the implementation of the socio-economic development and investment attraction plans for the Development Triangle Area from 2010 to 2020.
The meeting also discussed initiatives to mobilize capital from partners, financial institutions and the private sector into the area.
Delegates agreed to authorize agro-forestry ministries of the 3 countries to complete the plan for developing the rubber industry in the area and the project to establish economic links throughout Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia that will be proposed to the 3 countries' Prime Ministers in 2016.
