Nguyễn Xuân Tân from Hà Nội University of Science’s High School for Gifted Students; Lê Việt Hoàng from Biên Hòa School for Gifted Students in northern Hà Nam Province; Nguyễn Khánh Linh, from Lam Sơn School for Gifted Students in central Thanh Hóa Province; Trần Xuân Tùng from Hà Nội-Amsterdam School for Gifted Students and Lê Công Minh Hiếu from Quốc Học-Huế High School for Gifted Students in central Thừa Thiên-Huế Province won bronze medals. All of them are 12th graders.
Lê Quang Huy, 12th grader from Biên Hòa School for Gifted Students received a certificate of merit.
The 20th APhO took place from May 5 to 13 in Australia with the participation of 22 countries and territories. The competition involves two 5-hour long exams of university standard, one theory and one practical.
Among 165 competitors, 87 won medals including nine golds, 16 silvers, 33 bronzes and 29 certificates of merit.
