HÀ NỘI — The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will launch two new domestic routes connecting HCM City and Chu Lai in the central province of Quảng Bình, and Đà Nẵng City and Cần Thơ City this month.
The HCM City-Chu Lai route will be opened on January 15 and the Đà Nẵng-Cần Thơ route will be on January 31.
The airline will operate seven flights per week on each route using Airbus A321 aircraft with four-star service. The flights will take off from HCM City at 7.45am, Chu Lai at 9.45am, Đà Nẵng at 6.30pm and Cần Thơ at 7.15am.
It is also launching a promotional programme, with economy fares priced from VNĐ299,000 (US$12.8), excluding taxes and fees. Passengers for the HCM City-Chu Lai route can buy discounted tickets from January 5 to 30 for flights between January 1 and March 31, meanwhile, those for Đà Nẵng-Cần Thơ flights can get tickets from January 9 to February 3 for flights between February 13 and March 31. — LV
