BÌNH THUẬN — Two people were killed and seven others injured after a sleeper bus crashed into a roadside barrier and overturned early Friday morning on a stretch of National Highway No 1A, running through the coastal central provinces of Bình Thuận’s Hàm Thuận Bắc District.
The bus driver and a passenger were killed. The accident occurred when the bus was travelling on a corner of the road in heavy rain. After the accident, passengers and goods were scattered across the road. The bus was seriously damaged.
The bus was en route from HCM City to Hải Phòng. The accident brought traffic to a standstill for two hours.
Police are investigating to find the cause of the accident. —VNS
