HÀ NỘI — Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and Deputy PM Vũ Đức Đam met with 200 distinguished education workers from across the country on Monday in Hà Nội.
The PM expressed his gratitude and congratulated them for their contribution to the development of Việt Nam’s education sector.
He said education remains a top priority in the modern world, a view shared by many leaders at the recent APEC gathering in Papua New Guinea. He urged Vietnamese teachers to continue passing down not only their knowledge to their students but also their moral values and beliefs.
The PM reaffirmed the Party and the State’s mission to support and develop the country’s education sector. He said Vietnamese teachers, who play a vital role in realising that goal, must be at the frontline and continue to be good examples for their students. — LV
