HÀ NỘI — The Hà Nội Railway Transport Joint Stock Company has reduced train ticket prices for the sleeper class by between 7 and 30 per cent.
The price reduction has been applied for routes on Thống Nhất trains and short trips from Hà Nội to Vinh City from Wednesday until March 10.
Specifically, the ticket prices for sleeper classes on SE1, SE5 and SE9 trains between February 6 and 9 will decrease by 28-30 per cent. The ticket price for sleeper class on SE19 trains, running between February 10 and 11, and trains of SE1, SE5 and SE9, running between February 10 and 16 will be reduced by 12 to 18 per cent.
The ticket prices for sleeper class on NA1 and NA2 trains, operating from Hà Nội to Vinh, between February 5 and March 10, will fall by 7-20 per cent.
Additionally, the company has helped students nationwide to change their train tickets on SE1, SE5 and SE9 after schools remained closed due to the spread of coronavirus.
Passengers have to change their tickets at least four hours before the scheduled departure time. The fee for changing a ticket is 10 per cent of the price printed on the train pass. — VNS
