HẢI PHÒNG — The Inspectorate of Hải Phòng City has publicised hotlines for people and businesses to report information that helps to fight and prevent corruption.
The hotlines are 02253.222.468 and 01263.345.678.
People can also send corruption-related information to email ykiennhandan@haiphong.gov.vn or via websites http://nguoidan.chinhphu.vn and http://doanhnghiep.chinhphu.vn.
Chief Inspector of the city, Nguyễn Hải Bình, said inspectors discovered economic violations worth over VNĐ13.1 billion (US$577,000) in the first six months of the year.
The violations were committed by 1,371 individuals and units found through over 1,400 inspections during the period.
Inspectors issued 1,001 administrative penalties worth VNĐ7.3 billion for violators.
The inspectors required 81 units that were found to owe social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance debts worth over VNĐ120 billion to soon pay the debts. After inspections, the units paid VNĐ51.6 billion to the social insurance fund. — VNS
