The event marked 55 years since the establishment of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic relations and 40 years since the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation. The program included songs celebrating the longstanding history of Vietnam and Laos, and important milestones in their relations, such as the “Dien Bien Liberation”, “Vietnam-Laos friendship”, and “Hanoi-Vientiane” relations.
