According to statistics from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Vietnam has about 200,000 people including children and adults living with autism. The number of children diagnosed with autism and receiving treatment is increasing. At the National Hospital of Pediatrics, the average number autistic children receiving treatment annually has increased from ten to twenty percent.
