The 6th Press Moment Photography Award Ceremony took place on the morning of December 6th at the Military Broadcasting and Television Center in Hanoi. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Quoc Minh – Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Committee of Communication and Education, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Ms. Dinh Thi Mai – Deputy Head of the Committee of Communication and Education; Mr. Tong Van Thanh – Director of the Press and Publication Department; Mr. Le Tran Nguyen Huy – Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists' Association and Editor-in-Chief of Journalists and Public Opinion Newspaper and leaders from various journalism management agencies and representatives of government departments.
In 2024, the Press Moment photography contest, organized by Journalists and Public Opinion Newspaper under the direction of the Vietnam Journalists Association, continued to receive wides and enthusiastic participation from reporters and journalists from both central and local press agencies across the country. The number of photos submitted this year has doubled from last year, with nearly 400 entries, including single and series photo s, amounting to thousands of images. Not only has the quantity increased, but this year’s contest also saw a significant improvement in quality: the subjects were more diverse, with most of the entries reflecting important and emblematic national events, demonstrating the journalists’ dedication to capturing key moments from around the country, despite facing hardships and challenges they face in their work.
This year's entries were divided into three main categories: Current Affairs, Social Life, and Sports, covering a wide range of life aspects and the flow of events. During the "Press Moment" 2024 award ceremony, the organizers presented the Top 10 Press Moments of 2024 to the authors of the award-winning works and awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes in the three categories. Notably, the organizers also presented a Special Prize to the group of authors who produced the best work.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh said that over six editions, the event has become a prestigious and high-quality photojournalism award, gaining increasing recognition in the photography and press photography communities.This year, the number of photos submitted has almost doubled, and the quality of the photo series is proof that the "Press Moment" photo award has become a popular platform for photojournalists across the country.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the public was also able to enjoy an exhibition of the 50 most remarkable works from the 2024 "Press Moment" Photography Award.
