All activities stagnated due to this flooding. It was only for two months but Jakarta suffered two serious floods, causing a total of sixty deaths, affecting nearly 180 thousands people. Climate change and unfavorable geographical conditions make Jakarta very vulnerable to flooding. Jakarta also faces many problems such as population overload, traffic congestion.
Through this, Indonesian government is pushing to relocate the nation's capital.
