The 16 contestants of GAMA: Rush but Not Wrecked (GAMA) each bring their strengths and weaknesses. Most of them are “newcomers” to the world of high-speed Go-Kart racing. Anxious and fearful, they must compete in four intense elimination rounds to gain an advantage and secure their place in the following stages.
As they begin the journey, the contestants will undergo professional training, covering everything from driving techniques and speed control to obstacle-handling strategies. Throughout the show, they will also face off against mysterious “challengers” designed to create pressure and surprises, ensuring that no one can breeze through the race.

At the press conference, actress Trang Hy was tipped to be the standout comedian standout among the female contestants. She teased some exciting plot twists that will force contestants to give their all from the outset. Trang Hy also hinted that some contestants who seem fragile and timid off the track will reveal a completely different side once they get behind the wheel.
On the male side, Korean YouTuber Jongrak Choi confidently stated, “Racing is not hard – speaking Vietnamese is harder”. Meanwhile, the oldest content creator in the group, Hieu Gia Lai, admitted that he had almost quit after experiencing a “cinematic crash” during the show. Despite lacking the advantages of youth and physical strength, he gradually discovered a passion for speed. He decided to step out of his comfort zone and fully embrace the thrilling experience that GAMA has to offer.
Actress Trang Hy promises to bring humor and surprises to the race.
Dramatic and realistic collisions on the track are inevitable in GAMA where fierce eliminations take place in each episode to find the best racers. In response to concerns about player safety, Action Director Hai Bui revealed that he and Director Charlie Nguyen, along with the production team, had personally tested the vehicles and verified all safety measures with professional technicians. The Go-Kart, often referred to as the “mini F1”, is a low-center 4-wheel vehicle that significantly reduces the risk of overturning on sharp turns.

Nevertheless, Hai Bui emphasized that since this is a reality show about racing, crashes are a natural part of the experience. Some contestants even joked that the timing of the crashes seemed too perfect to be accidental. He reassured viewers that a professional team is always ready to assist, ensuring maximum safety in case of any incidents. Additionally, the racetrack is designed with speed-control barriers.

Producer representative Thi Vo added that while the team has prepared all safety and legal measures for the track, contestants are constantly reminded to prioritize their safety. The decision to divide the competition into male and female groups was based on careful calculations. However, she revealed that, after undergoing training and competing, gender and age may no longer be seen as barriers to conquering the racetrack.
