In 2026, VTV2 - Vietnam Television - is introducing a new wave of changes with a range of specialized programming slots. These programs focus on using a scientific lens to analyze issues, thereby offering practical guidance and spreading positive energy. Each time slot is not only an engaging destination for viewers but also contributes to realizing the message: “VTV2 - Knowledge shaping the future”.

Since 2025, the VTV2 production team has introduced a series of new programs that have begun to make an impression on audiences. Examples include AI for Real Action, Stay Alert 24/7, VTV Live Healthy, and Deep Understanding Quality Living. As we move into 2026, the innovation continues with a synchronized revamp of prime-time evening slots, featuring specialized content expected to be highly engaging.

AGRICULTURE TIME SLOT
After 30 years on the air, Friends of Farmers (4:45 PM daily on VTV2) will launch a new version in 2026 to meet the demands of modern agriculture, where farmers are not only producers but also drivers of innovation, creativity, and integration.

The Q&A with Experts segment was created to address practical issues in agricultural production directly. It serves as a bridge between farmers and experts, providing prompt, accurate, and in an easy-to-apply answers to real-world questions from the field.
FAMILY TIME SLOT
The program Little Flowers (6:15 PM daily on VTV2) is designed to provide a time for family bonding. Parents and grandparents can watch it with their children and talk about the small daily lessons it offers. Each 15-minute episode offers a variety of formats, including animation, games, and nature- and animal-themed films.
Modern Family Stories (6:30 PM daily on VTV2) is a new program produced by the Department of Features and Educational Programs at Vietnam Television. It follows a talk-reality format, with each 30-minute episode reflecting real social issues within families.
KNOWLEDGE PRIME TIME SLOT
With a scientific yet approachable style, Deep Understanding Quality Living (8:00 PM, Monday to Friday on VTV2) offers audiences fresh perspectives on familiar social issues.
TECH TIME SLOT
S-Tech - Technology Wave (8:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday on VTV2) delivers a meaningful message: “Technology is not distant. Technology is our story”. The program consists of three segments: Touching Technology, Technology Stories, and Technology Challenges.
CRIME & ALERT TIME SLOT
Stay Alert 247 (8:30 PM, Saturday on VTV2) revives the spirit of Cautionary Tales from past decades. It goes beyond storytelling to “decode” crimes by analyzing criminal psychology and the technologies used by perpetrators. Each episode presents a standalone case in which the host and experts act as “investigators”, working alongside viewers to expose intricate scams.
HEALTH & WELLNESS TIME SLOT
In 2026, three programs -VTV Live Healthy, Nutrition for Vietnamese, and Chat with Doctors (8:00 AM and 9:15 PM daily on VTV2) - introduced several notable innovations. Among them, VTV Live Healthy is developed under the “Broadcast - Digital - Events” model, expanding its content ecosystem across multiple platforms, including television, VTVgo, and social media. The program places greater emphasis on timely and practical content, with a daily thematic approach such as “Mother and Baby”, “If Only I Had Known Earlier”, and “Pharmacy Stories”. It also boosts audience interaction, allowing viewers to send questions directly to experts.
Nutrition for Vietnamese offers a comprehensive content system covering the entire human life cycle, from pregnancy to old age, across six key nutrition groups. A standout feature is the introduction of Julia, an AI host, who modernizes the program's image and facilitates connections among experts, hosts, and field reporters. In 2026, the program will further focus on school nutrition and improving the physical health of Vietnamese people, aligning with national public health strategies.
Chat with Doctors continues to leverage the expertise of leading hospital professionals and top specialists to transform medical knowledge into practical disease prevention guidance for the community. A key innovation is its live broadcast on both television and digital platforms, connecting studios with hospitals so that doctors can respond to viewers’ questions in real time. The content focuses on the trend of “proactive prevention”, helping people identify health risks early on.
