VTV won two 2020 Asiavision Annual Awards

VTV.vn - Vietnam Television (VTV) has won two Asiavision Annual Awards 202 from the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Association (ABU).

The awards Outstanding Reporting of a News Story and Outstanding Reports on Climate Change and Adaptation Awards at the Asiavision Annual Awards, 2020 were presented to two works by Vietnam Television (VTV).

In particular, the Outstanding Reporting of a News Story award went to Hanoi's hero of the Night by the production team consisting of Minh Duc, Thanh An, Tien Vu from the Department of International Programs (VTV4 ) and Outstanding Reporting on Climate Change and Adaptation was presented to the story on environmentally friendly recycling bags by the production team comprising Hoang Hai Yen and Nguyen Tai Vu from the Center for Production and Development of Digital Content (VTV Digital).

Asiavision of the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Association (ABU) is a daily television news exchange program, which connects broadcasters in Asia and the Pacific.

Since its launch in 1984, Asiavision has provided daily news on the main events of the day, becoming the main source of news for ABU members. Founded for free news exchanges among ABU members, Asiavision is not for commercial or political purposes.

Asiavision members now exchange more than 17,600 news articles each year and more recently more than 1,100 news articles related to the COVID-19 crisis have been exchanged each month. Asiavision has 34 members.

Founded in 1964, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Alliance (ABU) is the world's largest broadcasting alliance. Through its network of members, ABU can reach 3 billion people throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
