Paving the Way is a documentary following the emotional journey of teacher Tho, a young educator who travels nearly 70 km per day to teach at the primary school site during the day and provide literacy classes for ethnic minority residents at night. Without complaint, he silently cultivates knowledge, hope, dignity, and self-respect in his learners.
In a small cultural house, a mother gently writes while holding her sleeping child. This scene deeply moved journalist Dang Tran My Hanh, reinforcing the idea that education is about more than just knowledge; it is also about faith, opportunity, and liberation from barriers and feelings of inferiority.
